Location. The 1911 bank building resurrected into Hotel ICON stands in downtown Houston, Texas, seven blocks from the Jesse H. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts and the Wortham Center. The George R. Brown Convention Center is one mile from the property, which is one-half mile from the Houston Theater District and three miles from the Houston Museum District. Within one mile of the hotel are Minute Maid Park and the Toyota Center sports arenas. The hotel provides complimentary transportation within three mile of the property.
Hotel Features. The hotel is home two renowned dining venues including BANK restaurant and nightclub entrepreneur Rande Gerber's The Lobby Loft. Antique cellar doors from southern France open into the Wine Vault, an intimate setting offering thousands of choice global vintages. Each on-site dining venue can transform into event and banquet rooms, featuring over 5,000 square feet of space with a ballroom, foyer, terrace and executive boardroom hosting a 50-inch plasma screen.
